NJHealthConnect iPads
Important Information
These iPads are set up to be used for NJ Health Connect program purposes only (primarily, health information). iPads are managed by a third party software that prohibits the use of the iPads for anything other than the pre-installed functionalities.
Guidelines for Borrowing and Use

iPads may only be checked out from the Circulation Desk.

A resident of Montville Township (includes Pine Brook & Towaco) must have a valid full service Montville library card with current address and no outstanding fines above $10.00 to borrow an iPad.

iPads must be returned to the Circulation Desk, not dropped off in our book or media returns.

An iPad may be borrowed for 2-weeks with no renewals. Patrons may borrow 1 iPad at a time.

A borrower may reserve an iPad by placing a hold request in the catalog, by phone, or in person. Requests will be filled in the order received.

The iPad will no longer be held for the borrower if it is not claimed within 6 business days.

To ensure equal access to iPads in our community, once a borrower returns an iPad, they may not check out another iPad for at least 24 hours.
Fines and Liability

The overdue fine is 50 cents per day.

The borrower is solely responsible for the iPad and will be billed for reasonable repair or replacement costs associated with damage or loss of iPads and/or peripherals due to neglect or abuse.

Replacement cost for the iPad device: $200

Replacement cost for the iPad charger: $12

Proper Care and Use

As with any item, use care when handling.

Please do not leave the iPad plugged in and charging all the time. Doing so can damage the iPad.

Return the iPad with all parts and components.
